The hiking trails offered many stops along the way to take in the view as one stood on large rocks that have withstood the effects of weather and erosion. These overlooks provided a place to rest and soak in the wonder that is God's handiwork. The hike was made all the more enjoyable in those times of rest when time was spent talking about the blessings of God and his work in our lives and the lives of those we know and love.
"Lord, our Lord,how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies,to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
